A newborn child opens its eyes to the world of nature.
The toddling years bring the fastest pace of learning, says experts.
Early childhood is a time of tender awakening of the capacity of reasoning which needs to be nurtured in an atmosphere that allows the child to go on a voyage of self-discovery and explore his/her space within.
The child needs an environment conducive to engaging his/her curiosity and not tossing him/her on a conveyer belt called schooling; hurtling towards a goal where only the fittest survive. Parents and Educationists are guilty of creating a system where, the child is made to feel, he must perform in a sort of infant Olympics in a desperate attempt to get to the top.
It is here that the role of a good school comes in A school with an impassioned teacher, with necessary infrastructure, and more importantly a ‘mission’ and a ‘vision’.
Education brings knowledge. Knowledge brings awareness. Awareness brings a sense of responsibility. Today we need, more than ever before, children, future citizens, with a strong sense of responsibility, responsibility towards society, responsibility towards family and responsibility towards the country, humanity, and the universe.
Precisely, this is what we are aiming at in Azad International School.
